Trip to KS in May

We took a trip to Kansas the middle of May to celebrate a cousin's high school graduation and to visit Grandpa Dan.  We had a blast!  We don't get down there as often as we should so it was good to see family.

 Liam and Maggie got to play with 3 of their second cousins.  It was fun to see the kids play together, though Liam and Isaac playing together almost looked like a cage match.  I'm sure Liam was glad to finally have someone to wrestle with!

Putting the kids to bed in the same room is not something we're used to, so bedtimes were tricky.  Thankfully the kids were usually tired enough that they would give up after too long.  Liam decided that Maggie's bed needed a little extra padding at naptime.  I left them to have "quiet time" since they were both refusing to nap, and came back 15 minutes later to find this:

We spent the evening at Brian's Aunt and Uncle's house and got to sit around a fire making s'mores and talking.  The kids were out way past their bedtimes but it was well worth it.
