38 weeks! Almost there!I forgot to post our family picture from my best friend LeeAnn's wedding. Aren't we so cute?
We got a boatload of snow this past week--we haven't seen this much snow in quite a while. Liam wanted to be in it the second he knew it was snowing. He likes to mow the snow with his mower, and make "snow soup" with a ladle.
We like to watch Sid the Science Kid on PBS, and will occasionally do experiments of our own. This experiment was "What happens to snow when it warms up?" Liam's hypothesis (it's much cuter when he says it) was that it would melt.
After he poked at it a bit and did a taste test (our second hypothesis was that it would taste the same after melting), he resigned himself to waiting.But his hypothesis was right! And tasted nice and cold :)
Watching Daddy shovel the approximately 9" of snow we received.
Operation Renovate Dining Room is underway! Liam helped Daddy rip out the carpet and pad and pull up the tack strips. Tonight the first coat of paint went on after a trip to Lowe's. It's so exciting! I can't wait for the bamboo flooring to be installed and our new pantry to go up!

Liam and Dax are kindred spirits! You know my little guy likes to "mow the snow" too! ;) He's beside himself that his fave mower is stuck in the shed b/c of a snow drift! Good thing we have 10 million other mowers to choose from. ;)
