On Saturday, Liam participated in his second Volkswalk in the Cornhusker State Games. It pretty much consists of a 10k (6.2 mi) walk where every participant who finishes gets a medal. We had beautiful weather this year and Liam decided to ride the whole way (except for about 100 yards) in the stroller so we finished in about 2 hours. He is very proud of his medal, and wouldn't take his CSG shirt off all day/night.

When I was a kid and living in Germany, we used to do Volksmarches practically every weekend. I did a 25k once and only once.
